only a few more days until we celebrate the coming of the Helper—the Holy Spirit—on Pentecost. In our work with Iranians and at Riga Luther Academy, Lula and I can see the Helper in action—just as I’m sure you can see him working in your life and surroundings too, dear supporters. Just take the Iranian lady whom I was recently coaching in preparation for her asylum interview with the German authorities. “Since you became a Christian, has your life changed any?” Her reply: “It certainly has… I’m ashamed to say that I used to lie a lot. And I was always nervous and agitated. But since my Baptism and since reading more and more of the New Testament, I’ve quit lying and am also filled with this incredible feeling of peace. The Holy Spirit has done that”…whom we also know as the Helper. Thank you all so much for supporting our ministry here in Germany and Eurasia. The Helper is using Lula and me as well, flawed but redeemed human beings—to bring the saving Gospel of our LORD and Savior Lord Jesus Christ to the nations.
