This coming Sunday the Gospel lesson in the historic lectionary is John 16:16-22. The Church calls this Lord’s Day “Jubilate” Sunday because, even in the midst of any sorrow we might experience, we have reason to rejoice. Why? Because any sorrow is only temporary, whereas our joy is eternal. As our Lord explains, “Your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you” (v. 22). Thank you all for your continued support. Just as you pray for us, Lula and I continue to pray for you. In this Easter season, we rejoice all the more because Jesus Christ has defeated sin, death, and the devil—not only for Himself but *for you*–all across the U.S.A. and also here in Eurasia and around the world!
