We are now in the season of Lent, the period between Ash Wednesday and Easter Sunday during which we spiritually walk alongside our Lord journeying to the Cross—fearful for Good Friday yet trusting in the glory of Easter Sunday that would follow on the third day. Many of our Iranian Lutherans here in Germany are balancing between two emotions as well: between trepidation—not knowing the outcome of their asylum hearings—and hope, that this year may finally bring about the ouster of the cruel mullah regime strangling their homeland and keeping the lid on a Gospel explosion that is expected to occur in Iran as soon as the regime changes. Thank you for your continued support and please keep on praying for the spread of the Gospel, not only among Iranians but also around the world!
