“He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters” (Ps 23:2). Lula and I are back in Hamburg after eight weeks of home service during which we were blessed to have 25 appointments in ten different states. I was able to share with many people how the Lord is blessing our Gospel ministry among Iranian immigrants in Germany and our work at Riga Luther Academy, where my LCMS missionary colleagues and I prepare men and women from 18 countries—from Malawi to Italy to Pakistan—to become Lutheran pastors and deaconesses. Lula and I had barely touched down in Hamburg when I had to head down to Frankfurt to do pulpit supply at a Lutheran church. Then I traveled to Lutherstadt Wittenberg where I taught a one-week class on Pastoral Care at a Riga Luther Academy in-person Intensive. All of this would not be possible without your prayers and most generous support. Lula and I are so grateful for your love! The Lord’s blessings to you and as we all launch into summer.
