Lula and I have been on home service since early April. So far, 22 stops in almost a dozen states… Thank you SO much for all the love and support you are extending to us as we get to meet many of you in person. In my missionary presentations across the U.S., I emphasize two significant points: 1) The Lord is doing amazing things among Iranians in Germany and also back in their homeland. Although Iran is officially 96% Muslim and infamous as the epicenter of political unrest across the Middle East and beyond, in reality, there are many indications that as much as one-third of the Iranian population is secretly Christian! Not only that, but Christianity is also radiating to the Iranian immigrant communities in Germany, where my missionary colleagues and I are privileged to baptize more than 100 Iranians every year. This in turn is slowly increasing Christianity in Germany where today only some 5% of the population has an active faith.
2) The LCMS is the driving force of biblical Lutheranism worldwide. Christians around the globe are looking to the LCMS for faithfulness to the Gospel, leadership, and theological education. Thank you for supporting your LCMS in all of its various endeavors, including theological education, mission work, church planting, and fostering altar and pulpit fellowship among conservative Lutheran church bodies. Your support has eternal consequences for millions around the globe as we proclaim Christ crucified, risen, and ascended!
