Dear friends and supporters,
It’s been a super busy year for Lula and me—with opportunities literally around the world to share the Gospel: from the LCMS Convention in Milwaukee where I gave a presentation on our missionary work, to Dubai, to Latvia, and Romania, just to name a few places. Not to mention, so much interaction with our Iranian friends here in Germany—baptizing and teaching them–and the privilege of helping to form the future Lutheran pastors and deaconesses enrolled at Riga Luther Academy. All of this would not be possible without your amazing support, your love and prayers. *** A key verse during this Christmas season is John 1:14: “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” That is the essence of Christmas—that God came down from heaven to be born as a human so that He could forgive our sins and grant us eternal life. Relaying that message is the essence of our missionary work and indeed the task of every Christian to share, as you find the opportunity. Thank you for enabling Lula and me to do exactly that in Eurasia—on your behalf! Merry Christmas!
