“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth” (1 Cor 3:6). This past month has been extremely busy, as I gave missionary presentations in three different churches across Germany, attended the LCMS Convention in Milwaukee on behalf of the Office of International Mission and Lula and I attended the OIM retreat in Latvia.
At the same time, ministry to our Iranian immigrants in Hamburg continues, as I teach a new baptismal preparation class for six adults and prepare for the new academic year at Riga Luther Academy, in which I will teach the course “Overview of Dogmatics.” We have six new students at RLA: a Norwegian and an Iranian deaconess candidate—both living in Turkey; and four men studying to become pastors: an Iranian, Russian, and a German—all of whom live in Germany; plus a Finnish man living in Finland.
Thank you all so much for your continued support of our work, as we continue to baptize, teach, and preach Christ crucified to people across Eurasia.
Blessings in our Lord and Savior!
