Having given a Mission Sunday presentation at different SELK congregations across Germany every weekend this month, my travels will bring me back to the U.S. on July 28th for the LCMS Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Along with two other missionaries, I have been invited to report on the work happening in Europe. I will share how the Lord continues to call many, many people in Germany out of the darkness of Islam into Christianity, and how He is raising up future Lutheran pastors and deaconesses, whom I, along with my colleagues, am privileged to instruct at Riga Luther Academy.
This is only possible because you all are so generously sharing your gifts for the Lord’s work, as He uses us sinners/saints to expand his Kingdom through Word and Sacrament. From the bottom of our hearts, Lula and I are so grateful that we can be your hands and feet, as we share the joyful news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with people in many parts of Eurasia.
